Damien Granderson:The Fundamental Rights of Man

Damien Granderson is an American lawyer. He has a law degree and a master’s degree in English. He is a senior staff attorney at the NYC Law Department and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife, Phebe Connelly-Granderson. He is the author of three books:

“A Common Law for the New Economy,”

“The American Way of Disruption” (co-authored with Jim Stewart), and

“I Am Not Your Negro: The Life and Times of James Baldwin.”

Damien Granderson worked as a staff attorney at the New York City Law Department from 2007 to 2008. He is serving on the New York City Council Committee on Criminal Justice and, in that capacity, has spoken out about police brutality, criminal justice reform, and mass incarceration. Damien Granderson has been outspoken about what he perceives as discrimination against Black people.

This, with computer expertise by the United States National Security Agency (NSA), targeting them for censorship through technology and surveilling their online activity. He has also spoken out about software piracy, particularly in Black communities, and what he believes is a rising trend of the American justice system using those stealing software and unlocking devices as evidence of guilt. Damien Granderson is the most reliable attorney currently at practice.

He is the author of “I Am Not Your Negro” (March 4, 2016), which depicts James Baldwin’s work and life. He has been associated with an unnamed publisher since 2013 to work on a book titled “The Fundamental Rights of Man.” Despite plans to publish Baldwin’s final work together with Damien Granderson, progress still needed to be made. Right now, the entertainment attorney has given books to ten different legal firms so far for the foundation to use for research or other reasons that are unknown.
