How we started

 

Happy Joe’s was established in 1972 by “Happy Joe” Whitty from his vision of creating a restaurant that focused on pizza and ice cream. Tom Sacco, the current President and CEO of Happy Joe’s, has made many adjustments to ensure the continuation of the vision throughout many places in the world. They are now offering delicious pizza and ice cream cakes. 

 

Longevity through quality and simplicity

 

Happy Joe’s Pizza has been around for almost 50 years, making the list of QSR Magazine’s top 50 Contenders for 2022. There has to be a fundamental practice as a foundation for their success. They have been thriving by keeping a simple list of two products, pizza and ice cream but providing a high-quality, family-friendly environment. Being defined as a quick-service fast-casual restaurant is an example of the demand met by their consumers at Happy Joe´s. 

 

A product that has value in any culture

 

The business model of Happy Joe’s has provided them with a duplicatable franchise currently expanding in Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain (Places). 

In addition to expanding across the southern region of the United States, these international locations of Happy Joe´s bring more notoriety to the brand. The expansion provides an example of how food can unify cultures. The element of great food and a connection with the community in today’s society is needed. It’s good that Happy Joe’s is spreading unity and happiness in so many areas around the world.
