Bernard Acoca

Bernard Acoca is a writer, journalist and Zaxby’s CEO from Hacienda Heights, California. He has been writing for the New York Post for more than 20 years and has published many books about varied topics, one of his most popular being “How to Be a Woman.” He also co-founded “The New York Post” first online photo blog. In 1995, he wrote “How to Be a Woman,” which spent more than four months on The New York Times bestseller list and became a major motion picture for Columbia Pictures.

The Zaxby’s CEO was born on January 11, 1951, and raised in Roxbury, Massachusetts. His father was a lawyer. He attended Phillips Exeter Academy. He earned his BA from Wesleyan University and his MA from the University of Pennsylvania. Acoca made his living for many years as a journalist for The New York Post, writing features and human-interest pieces about a wide range of subjects, including Human Rights groups and art scenes across the country.

Bernard Acoca has won numerous awards and honors throughout his career. He is listed in the International Who’s Who of Professionals in Broadcasting & Telecommunications Hall of Fame, Marquis Who’s Who, and Contemporary Authors. He received the Courage in Journalism Award from the American Society of Journalists and Authors for an article about a family on welfare. In addition, Acoca has been recognized by his alma maters, Phillips Exeter Academy and Wesleyan University, with whom he has maintained strong connections throughout his life.

Bernard Acoca has written many books on many topics. His most popular book is “How to Be a Woman,” which became a best seller in both hardcover and paperback and audio. The book was made into a major motion picture of the same title. He also went on to write “Go East Young Woman,” “America’s Best Colleges: For Less,” and “How to Get Anything On Anybody.”

He has worked for over 20 years for The New York Post and has written many books on many topics. He is an accomplished journalist who has used his platform to shed light on important issues and continues to do so.
