AIS Healthcare has announced that it is opening an additional infusion center that will serve patients in three states. These states are Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The Advanced Infusion Care IAIC) is a division of the parent company AIS Healthcare.
The nurses who will work out of the new facility will be able to provide the additional service of in home infusion to patients where that is necessary. They will have the same strong dedication of great service to all patients.
Working throughout the United States, in 40 states at the present time, AIS provides a large variety of medicines that need specific infusion. Many of these patients have complex medical issues and require infusions at their home.
The Advanced Infusion Center will provide a team based approach to infusion care with 24/7 access for patients. Nurses can provide specific subcutaneous immunoglobulin (Ig) therapy to patients with immunodeficiencies, allowing them to receive treatment at home and to avoid unnecessary hospitalizations.
By opening a treatment center and stationing job specific nurses in New England, the company can expand its compassionate and excellent treatment services to a whole new cadre of patients who are desperate to have these services.
The President of the company, Jud Hall, believes that the time was right to undertake this expansion. Now, he stated, patients in additional states will have the opportunity to receive home infusions in their own homes.
