IM Academy was founded in 2013 as a small startup by two aspiring forex traders, Christopher Terry and Isis De la Torre. They wanted to create an easy-access online platform for forex education using a subscription-based model. Their vision was to deliver accessible and interactive training for forex enthusiasts to help them improve their skills and make better decisions about their trades. In 8 years, the Academy has grown into one of the largest organizations providing financial education today, with over 250,000 active members.

They also understand that things may not go smoothly every time, so they make provisions for everything to run seamlessly. Each video module consists primarily of a series of instructional videos along with unlimited interactive live sessions where students can apply the concepts they’ve learned to real-life situations.
The videos give student members a basic understanding of forex trading and how to use IM video tutorials and GoLive interactive sessions. While the videos offer a basic understanding of the concepts and trading methodologies used, most of the learning happens during the live online classes, where students interact directly with the instructor and trading platform. Students can collaborate in real time with IM educators during interactive GoLive sessions.
These interactive lessons allow students to work directly in an online classroom with instructors who can answer questions about course materials.
