Ben Roethlisberger was born in Lima, Ohio, USA, in March 1982 and grew up in Cory-Rawson. He spent his high school in Findlay, Ohio, and was surrounded by his family who supported his sports interest, he used to play football, basketball, and baseball and he was the captain in all three sports and became very active in sports at a very young age where he mostly focused on playing football and basketball. Ben later went to college in Miami, Ohio.
In 1999, Ben earned a chance to be the number one quarterback in his high school final season right after his graduation. The same year, Ben was honored as the offensive player of the year and runners-up for Mr Football. He threw 4041 yards and 54 touchdowns during his senior season which made him set records. He was also named league, district and Toledo Blade Player of the Year. Ben Roethlisberger played big 33 All-Star games both in Ohio North-South and Ohio-Pennsylvania making him advance to the second round of state playoffs.
Ben Roethlisberger averaged 26.5 points and nine rebounds in basketball and baseball. He performed well in his senior season and his staff invited him to the summer camp. Ohio University went after him when he set high records for his high school. In 2000, Ben took a redshirt season but later in 2001, he won his starting job. He fared well in his first games after struggling in his first games trips to Michigan and Lowa.
Ben signed his first contract with Steelers in 2004 a six-year contract with a range of 40 million dollars. In 2007, Ben returned to Oxford in October for the first time after spending 34 years in Miami. He holds 21 different school records at Miami.
Ben also has a great mission in life to take care of and nurture his family and he is also willing to invite others on his journey so that he can train them and become experts who are willing to grow their families. He tries his best to live just like his father who always took care of everyone else. He put everyone first even without considering himself first.
In 2021, Ben and Micah Tyler, a national recording artist, partnered with Light of Life Rescue Mission to provide food to the homeless population of Pittsburgh. He also opened a company, NeoLight where he and his wife help babies with jaundice the main reason they are admitted to hospitals.
