Doug Haynes: A Former Resident of Ridgefield Who Now Resides in Sleepy Hollow

DoughDoug Haynes is a former Ridgefield resident who now resides in Sleepy Hollow. He has worked with many notable companies, served on several boards, and participated in philanthropy. Haynes is currently a Consultant at Council Advisors and serves on the Board of Directors for The Center for Global Enterprise (CGE). In addition, he is a Venture Partner at Point72 Ventures and an Advisor to Warby Parker.

He started as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he worked on projects in the media and telecommunications industries. He then moved to AOL, where he was the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. In this role, he was responsible for AOL’s mergers and acquisitions and its investment strategy.

After AOL, Haynes joined hedge fund firm Point72 Asset Management as a Partner. He later became the CEO of Cubby, a cloud storage company that was acquired by Point72. Most recently, Haynes has been working as a Consultant at Council Advisors.

Haynes has had an impressive career, working with McKinsey & Company, The Boston Consulting Group, and Google before joining Point72 Ventures. He has also served on the boards of several companies, including Warby Parker, Affinity Equity Partners, and Council Advisors.
